Musician and vocalist Ranoy Gordon was inspired by music from and early age.
At the age of 16 he enrolled in and studied music at the Edna Manley College for the Visual and Performing Arts. While in college, Ranoy’s studies were inspired by musicians including Ernest Ranglin, Santana, Eric Clapton, and John Mayer.

After an audition, he began touring with Marley in 2007. He also toured with Marley’s brother, Grammy winner Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley.
Over the years Ranoy has collaborated with producers including Donovan Germain (Penthouse Records) Clive Hunt and singers Jah Cure, Tarrus Riley, Beres Hammond, Sanchez, Etana, Morgan Heritage, Andrew Tosh and dancehall artiste Busy Signal among others.
Gordon’s work can be heard on Grammy winning albums such as Stephen Marley’s Mind Control Acoustic and Revelation Part 1: The Root of Life; Marley’s 2016 album Revelation Part 2: The Fruit of Life; Morgan Heritage’s Strictly Roots as well as Jah Cure’s Grammy nominated The Cure.
