Description

The MK Clean is Victory’s ultimate Clean amplifier. This amplifier represents the culmination of over 30 years of experience from Martin Kidd. Martin made his first guitar amp in the early 1990s and has since become one of the most influential and important British amp designers of the last three decades.

The MK Clean is handbuilt in England and no expense has been spared on components, time to build or the many other barriers or confines that can be placed on amp designs. Each amp leaves the factory after Martin inspects and signs each one to confirm it meets his high standards.

Features

THE ULTIMATE CLEAN AMP?

100 watts and 4 x 6L6 power tubes, the MK Clean boasts a distinct high headroom sound, perfect for blues and country players. Despite its high headroom, it still breaks up when needed and has been meticulously designed with pedals in mind from the outset.

SINGLE CHANNEL DESIGN

The MK Clean’s single-channel design is crafted for playing, offering simplicity yet remarkable musicality. Built with a focus on clean headroom, it caters to blues and country-style playing while also accommodating pedal users with its ability to break up when desired.

VOICE SWITCH

Located on the front panel, there is a two-position voice switch. Voice 1 delivers 50’s style sounds, while Voice 2 introduces more upper-mid range into the tone, providing a slightly more 60’s British sound.

SHIMMERING REVERB

Recognised as the industry standard, the Accutronics Reverb Tank is a full-length 3-spring device with a medium decay. The tray is housed in a custom padded bag with the Victory logo screened on it. The whole assembly is then fitted into the sleeve via 2 quick-release Velcro straps.

This gives the MK Clean a lush reverb. The front panel has a Reverb send control allowing you to adjust the signal going into the reverb drive circuit, providing control over distortion levels, especially at higher gain settings.

BRIGHT SWITCH & BASS SHIFT

The bright control is a simple switch to add some top end, allowing you to shape the sound of whatever you use before the amp exactly the way you want it.

The Bass shift is a simple switch that reduces the bass frequencies coming into the tone stack to give extra control in particularly bassy rooms or with differing pickups.

CUSTOM SINGLE BUTTON FOOTSWITCH

The MK Clean comes with a custom single-button footswitch to control the reverb. It is housed in a custom punched, welded, painted and UV printed pedal, that is unique to the MK series and continues the families professional aesthetic.

WHAT’S IN THE BOX?

Each MK Clean includes a padded slip cover to protect the Muirhead leather coverings. Additionally, when you order a MK head and Cabinets you get a custom engraved perspex cover to protect your cabinet when you place the head on top. Finally, each amp comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Martin Kidd.

Customise your perfect MK Clean!

The MK Series amps are available to order in a number of custom finishes, including your choice of panel colour, handle, corners & a wide selection of genuine leather coverings. The leather is exclusively supplied by Muirhead Scottish Leather – suppliers of leather to the House of Lords, Rolls Royce, The Orient Express, Aston Martin & now Victory Amplification.
