Greg Mara

Greg Marra is an American guitarist, producer, filmmaker, and musical director based in Southern California that has worked with some of the biggest names in the music business including Paul Gilbert and Bruce Bouillet of Mr. Big and Racer X, Ray Luzier of Korn, Philip Bynoe from Steve Vai band, Mike Keneally from Frank Zappa and many more. Greg is also a clinician and gear demo review guy for Dimarzio Pickups, Fishman Pickups, Friedman Amplifiers, Victory Amplifiers, Wampler Pedals and more. Greg has been a guitar instructor since the early 1990’s as well. In 2005, Greg was featured in Mike Varney’s Spotlight column in Guitar Player Magazine and has been featured in Premier Guitar Magazine and Vintage Guitar Magazine. Greg has performed and demonstrated at The NAMM Show since 2005. Greg currently operates Plenty Heavy Studio in Southern California where he teaches guitar, produces videos for various guitar and gear companies and produces documentary films.
