Description
Since the launch of the original Deputy amplifier, it’s simple, single channel design and unrivalled tone has made it a modern classic in the Victory catalogue. Designed alongside Peter ‘Danish Pete’ Honore, the concept for the original Deputy was to take create an authentic vintage style single channel amplifier but with a few hidden tricks up its sleeve.
Along with the original 25 watt Deputy, we also launched it in our famous lunchbox format, and now we are expanding the range with a 100 watt version.
Features
Single Channel Design
The Deputy’s single channel effortlessly spans from 60’s British Clean to 70’s Classic Rock with a single gain control. This amp is straightforward and perfect for seamlessly transitioning your guitar’s volume from clean to crunch to lead gain. With 100 Watts of power, you’ll enjoy maximum clean headroom.
Three Position Voice Switch
The Deputy features a three-position Voice switch designed to provide maximum versatility by adding a bit of extra gain each time, ideal for different types of guitar and pickup:
- Position 1 (top), you get the lowest gain setting.
- Position 2 (middle), you enjoy a maximum of +6dB gain, influenced by the gain settings on the amp.
- Position 3 adds upper mid frequencies and a treble boost to Voice 2.
Bright Switch
The bright control is a simple switch to add some top end, allowing you to shape the sound of whatever you use before the amp exactly the way you want it.
Simple Powerful EQ
Plenty of tone-sculpting potential, plus a presence control that works in the power section to set the overall bite just how you like it.
Digital Reverb
The Deputy features a foot switchable on board reverb, it sits somewhere between a plate and hall-type sound. It’s smoother and more modern sounding than a traditional spring reverb. Upper settings will provide a glorious shimmer to your tone.
100 Watts Output
Powered by 4 x EL34 valves, the Deputy 100 delivers 100 watts RMS of rich, dynamic Victory valve tone—compact, powerful, and built for the modern player.
